Jared R. Tauber

Attorney Jared R. Tauber is an Associate of Tauber Westland & Bennett P.C.  I represent individuals and corporations covering a wide array of aspects of the law.  More specifically, I handle matters involving Personal Injury, Litigation, Real Estate and Business Transactions, Municipal Law, Family Law and Criminal Law Defense.  I am also the head of our firm's collection practice.

The main reason I decided to become an attorney is to help people.  Over the course of my career, I have had the pleasure to represent numerous clients from various backgrounds.  I have also served as a Judge Pro Tem for one of our local judges in Lake Superior Court.

I graduated from Indiana University's Kelly School of Business with a double major in 2004.  I proceeded to attend law school at Valparaiso University School of Law, where I received my J.D. in 2007.  Upon receiving my J.D., I became a member of the American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, Lake County Bar Association and the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association.  I am admitted to practice law by the Indiana Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern District of Indiana along with the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.

I was born in Munster, Indiana and graduated from Highland High School in 2000.  I currently reside in Schererville, Indiana.  When I am away from the office, I enjoy vacationing, spending time with my family, and sports.
